Fort Worth Family Photographer | {Costigan Family} Together

Last year the November mini-sessions were a complete hit. And those that missed out, begged and BEGGED me to do them again the following year. So this October I posted that I would be doing the mini's again...

And only one person messaged me for a slot. Isn't that JUST the way it happens.

Well, I messaged the momma back and told her it was cancelled but we'd try to figure something out.

A few weeks passed and I checked my scheduled and saw that there was indeed a Saturday in my crazy November free! Beep Bop Boop! Sent a message to that sweet momma, offered her the "mini" and proposed we make it a Christmas-y themed, knee-slapping, good time. 

She said yes.

and she bought fake snow.

and cut out snowflakes.

and brought wrapped Christmas presents.

Awesome mom.

I love this family. I love my friend, Rachel. I love her sweet children. I love that they're always smiling. Rachel is such a servant and hard worker. She's responsible, trustworthy, and my very best friend. We keep secrets for each other, pray for one another, and help in any way we are able. Speaking of secrets, she lets one out of the bag later on in this post. Be happy to have a looksie. :)

This family. I get them. I really. They have these lively kids, you see? And they're lots of fun and make for some beautiful photos. But more than anything, they know how to laugh together, and love each other, and have a great time doing it. So glad they asked me to jot down their sweet story once again this year. It's an honor and a privilege, Sarah. Thank you :)

The sweetie pie girls both have birthdays this month and I just wanna say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CUPCAKES!!!

Fort Worth Portrait Photographer | {Mark & Flossy} together

What do I know of love? I know what I've seen. I know what I feel. And these two love each other. They love truly, deeply, strongly. He is her rock, her protector, her friend. She is the extrovert, he is the introvert.

We met on a stormy Thursday afternoon. Rain pelted our windshields as we made our way to the location of the session. I had asked if they wanted to reschedule but Mark said no. Flossy and Mark have a special anniversary coming up in the next few months and she wanted to celebrate with a few frames :) I cannot stress how much I love this! We know people want pictures while their family is young, while their kids are growing, while life is fast and family is booming. And then something happens. The kids go to college or get married or move out and the two that started it all stop writing down their story. Mark and Flossy still have a story and they decided to celebrate it. Good for them!
