Eva's favorite blue-eyed boy but he's a man now...Alan | Senior

We trampled over dirt and grass and broke branches with our feet and faced the clouds and the coming storm. I watched as he skipped rocks and stood under the trees and laughed at his mom beside me. I am seeing him in my mind's eye. Watching his shuffle his feet as I get the angle I'm looking for. He probably wonders when these senior pictures will be finished. But he doesn't act like it.

His mom grins ear to ear as she watches everything he does. That boy that has now become a man. He's her "favorite blue-eyed boy" she tells me. Her "favorite brown-eyed boy" already off at college finishing another year, working hard during the summer to pay his bills.

Alan's her baby. He's a man now, but he'll always be her baby.

I'm not your mama, Alan, but I am so proud to see who you have become. You have faced some great trials and come through better than anyone could expect. You've traveled the World to give to others what they did not know. Christ's love burns bright in your heart. May it always.

"If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!"

Lily's best friend she never knew she had...West Palm Beach Senior | Gwyneth

It's nine o'clock. The kids are in bed (finally). The dog has been fed and is in for the night. Dinner eaten. Mini sessions finished and one last thing to do before I go off to Dreamyland.

That is share one of the sweetest seniors I've been privileged to shoot.

Gwyneth, Gwynnie, Gwyn. She is all those names and so much more.

She is all grown up and heading to College this fall. I know, I know...Most seniors get their photos done the year prior. But this angel cupcake wanted me to take them. And I couldn't get there until March of her graduating year, and so she was gonna wait until March of her graduating year!!! It as an honor and a privilege that she even ask me to take them. I accepted with gratitude and a hint of excitement. ;)

We started planning months ahead. See, Gwynnie is a planner. She likes to have everything perfect (except her bedroom floor). And so when we decided we were gonna do this, she went all out, dawg.

Being a huge, *ahem* HUGE, Lily Pulitzer fan and owning several dresses, we already pretty much knew what she was going to wear. And when she told me she had her mom had a Lily BIKE!? We knew what had to be done. It must be put in the Suburban and brought along.

We perused up and down Worth Avenue, in West Palm, pretending like we were going to buy everything as we passed. Chased light down alleys and looks for pretty florals to go with her gorgeous frocks. Found colorful, tiled steps from Pinterest. Threw pennies into fountains, and dug them back out (we po'ah). Biked along the beach. Brought confetti, forgot to use it. Ate ice cream from Sloans'.

HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST. She's rad. I like her. Here she is.

Gwyn, YOU are an incredibly girl. I can't wait to see how God writes the rest of your story, 'cause, it's ALREADY so beautiful.

Fort Worth Portrait Photography| {Lauren} Senior

This girl kills me. Really.

Cocky. Confident. And one of the most intriguing people I've ever meet.

I love her.

Lauren came to our youth department about two years ago from Yuma, AZ and let's just say that her easy going personality, sarcasm and quick whit helped her to find friends (Gabi and Elizabeth) pretty fast. She's not too fussy, and has a "I'm going to kill-you-dead" that would scare a Sasquatch. Good thing I'm not a Sasquatch. She also has a cool dog named "Gunny" and likes stray cats???

I was privileged enough to work with her whole family back in April while they were here in the area for a visit. We had an awesome time. Her parents are hard-working generous people with hearts of gold... I'm not sure where they picked Lauren up. (I kid, I kid...sorta) ;)

She was one of my fave senior to ever photograph. I told her what to do and she did it, right away and very well, I might add :)

Here she is.

Entre stray cat...
I love her laugh...
gor. geous.
Thanks for the crazy memories, Lauren!
